What is the Quran?

• The Quran is the final revelation from Allah sent to mankind by means of the angel Jibrael.

• It was revealed over a period of 23 years to the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) over 1400 years ago.

• It is unchanged and is preserved by text and by memory, as millions of Muslims all over the world memorise the entire Quran word for word.

• One of the miracles of the Quran is it's preservation, and it also contains many scientific, numeric and linguistic miracles.

• The Quran is not read in Arabic like a traditional book, it is recited as can be seen in the below video.
